Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Kidsight ("we," "our," or "us") operates kidsight.co. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a parent or guardian. We take children's privacy seriously.
Who this product is for
Kidsight is designed for children ages 5 to 10, used under parental supervision. Children do not create accounts and do not directly provide us with any personal information to play a quest. Only parents and guardians provide their email address, and only voluntarily at the end of a quest or via the signup form.
What we collect
- Parent email address — collected when a parent enters their email to receive the quest report, or signs up for product updates. This is always optional.
- Quest responses — the choices a child makes during a quest are used solely to generate the parent report. They are not stored after the report is sent.
- Basic usage data — standard web analytics (page views, device type, general location by country). No personally identifiable information is captured in analytics.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect names, ages, or any personal information from children.
- We do not require account creation to play.
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We do not sell any data to third parties.
How we use parent email addresses
Parent email addresses are used exclusively to:
- Send the parent quest report when a child completes a quest.
- Send product updates and new quest announcements if you opted in via the signup form.
You can unsubscribe from product update emails at any time using the link in any email we send. Report emails are one-time sends and require no subscription.
COPPA compliance
Kidsight is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The product is designed so that children can play without providing any personal data. All personal data collection (email) targets parents and guardians only.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us immediately at hello@kidsight.co and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention
Parent email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Quest response data used to generate reports is not stored after the report is delivered. You can request deletion of your email at any time by emailing hello@kidsight.co.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the product:
- Email delivery — to send parent reports to the address provided.
- Hosting — Cloudflare Pages hosts the site.
- Analytics — anonymised, aggregate traffic data only. No user-level tracking.
None of these services receive children's personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@kidsight.co. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Significant changes will be communicated to registered email addresses.
