Early Bird or Lie In? ⏰
It's your first day at the Goblin's Gold Workshop! The head goblin pays more coins for a full shift that starts at sunrise. Or you could sleep in and join the shorter afternoon shift — or come in mid-morning for a medium shift at reduced pay. What do you choose?
Choice A — The Full Shift
Wake up early and work the full shift
More hours of work means more coins earned. The head goblin notices your effort and pays a bonus!
Choice C — Mid-Morning Shift
Come in mid-morning for a medium shift
Not the earliest, not the latest. You earn something — but miss the early bonus that sunrise workers get.
Choice B — The Short Shift
Sleep in and join the afternoon shift
You earned something — but less work means fewer coins. You can't earn what you don't put in.

Scene 2 of 5 · The Tool Workshop
Invest or Make Do? 🔨
Your gold shovel broke! The goblin boss shows you two options: buy a solid silver shovel for 2 coins — it'll last all month and help you earn more. Or use the old cracked shovel for free — but it keeps breaking, slowing you right down.
Choice A — Invest to Earn More
Buy the silver shovel for 2 coins
It costs coins now — but the better tool helps you dig faster and earn 3 coins back. Net gain: +1 coin. Spending to earn more is called an investment!
Choice B — Save the 2 Coins
Use the old cracked shovel for free
Seemed like saving coins — but the broken shovel slows everything down. You earn 2 coins less because of it. Sometimes free costs more in the end.

Scene 3 of 5 · The Sorting Room
Do the Job Right ✅
You've dug a big pile of gold coins! Now you need to check each one — real gold glows bright, but fakes look dull. It takes time. You could check carefully, rush, or do a partial check on only the top layer. The goblins pay bonus coins for quality work — and penalise fakes that slip through.
Choice A — Check Every Coin
Sort carefully and check for fakes
Takes longer, but the head goblin sees the quality. A bonus for thorough work — and no penalties for fakes.
Choice C — Partial Check
Check the top layer only and hand them in
Most fakes are caught, but one slips through at the bottom. A small penalty — better than rushing everything, but not as good as full quality.
Choice B — Rush the Job
Hand them all in without checking
Three fake coins slip into the bag. The goblin boss finds them and docks your pay. Rushing costs more than it saves.

Scene 4 of 5 · The Special Order
The Upgrade Decision 💎
A customer offers to pay you 2 extra coins if you upgrade their order with a special polish finish. It will take you longer and there's some risk — but the reward is real. Or you could stick to the standard order and keep the 1 coin you already earned safely. What do you do?
Choice A — Take the Upgrade
Do the special polish upgrade (+2 coins)
You put in the extra effort and the customer is delighted. The risk paid off — 2 extra coins for investing your time and skill.
Choice B — Safe Choice
Stick to the basic order — no risk
Safe and steady. You keep what you have. Not every opportunity needs to be taken — knowing when to say no to risk is also a skill.

What Do You Do With Your Earnings? 💰
The head goblin hands over your wages — you've earned your coins through real work today! Right next to the exit is a GOBLIN CANDY shop. And on the other side, a SAVINGS VAULT where you can lock away coins for later. What will you do?
Choice A — Balanced Earner
Save most, spend a little as a treat
You earned it — you deserve a treat! But saving most means your coins grow for the future. This balance is what smart earners do.
Choice B — Spend It All
Buy goblin candy with all your earnings
The candy is delicious — but you earned those coins through hard work. Spending every coin the moment you earn it means starting from nothing every time.
